Tyler Keyser - American Flag

For my flag project, I chose to use the base colors of the flag darkened. I felt the contrast of the dark colors to the yellow stars jumps out the eyes.

I chose the image of Zlatan Ibrahimovic because he is my inspiration to continue playing soccer. The tools used used to edit the image include basic color and cropping. The colors I picked were from the AC Milan jerseys he is primarily seen sporting.

For my label project, I chose to use a variety of extravagant colors. The palette I chose stands out the most to me. I tried to match the colors as best as possible.

I designed my flag the way I did because America was founded on expression of ourselves. If Lincoln didn’t express his disliking of slavery where would we be? If Martin Luther King Jr. didn’t express how he and his brethren were discriminated, where would citizens be? Just like art we all need to express ourselves.

I designed my label the way i did because the explosion of colors is like my love for beans. though bean are not my favorite meat(and yes i looked it up) there are still good. the colors i used like my most of my art are of great variety, never will you find a boring colorless peice of art by me.
