For my project a story in six frames, I chose Silent Hill because it portrayed the relationship between a mother and daughter and what a mother would do to rescue her flesh and blood. The first frame shows the strong yet mysterious relationship between Rose, the mother, and Sharon. The next two frames symbolize the dangers of the town Silent Hill as one walks into it and how Rose and the police officer Cybil, rely on each other to survive from the horrors awaiting them. The third and fourth frames depict the true nature of Sharon revealing the mystery to the story, that before she was long ago adopted, she was burned for apparently being a witch. Soon revenge will take place. The last slide represents the success of getting out of Silent Hill, but when they reach home, the world is empty. The story is very dark and mysterious which I really loved about the movie. These six frames represent the movie at its best.
